That night the winds picked up to at least 50 mph with a few families sleeping in their vehicles. When the sun rose Sunday morning we made breakfast, packed up, drove to the Veteran's Memorial Cross, ate lunch at Mad Greek in Baker and eventually found the amazing yet elusive lava tube. Most of us arrived at home very late Sunday night, full of desert dust and tons of lasting memories.
